Happiness Manifesto

  • Plant something and keep it alive
  • Count your blessings - think of at least five - at the end of each day

  • Have an hour-long, uninterrupted conversation with your partner each week

  • Telephone a friend - tell her how important she is to you

  • Give yourself a regular treat - (i.e. bubble bath with candles, soft music)

  • Have a good belly laugh every day

  • Take regular exercise

  • Smile at strangers, or talk to them

  • Cut your TV viewing by half

  • Perform an act of kindness every day

This is a good list. I like the belly laugh idea. I've been looking for a good use for my belly!
